Last week our Business Development Manager, Faith, was invited to attend Kier Construction’s Women In Construction event at Shine Workspace in Leeds.
Kier’s Siyanda Mngaza shared the inspiring ways in which Kier is driving inclusion and diversity, particularly through their work supporting women into employment.
It was equally inspiring to hear drom Dawn O’keefe, Co-Founder of Shine Workspace, who spoke about the incredible community impact they create across Leeds. Through SheCanShine, they empower under-represented women to build confidence and pursue their ambitions – including supporting women who dream of starting their own businesses in Yorkshire.
The team from Smart Works leeds were also in attendance and highlighted the vital role they play in helping unemployed women gain the coaching, clothing, and confidence they need to secure meaningful work and transform their futures!
Ace Partitions and Ceilings Ltd were delighted to donate £100 worth of workwear to Smart Work Leeds. Hopefully these contributions will help someone to take a step closer to achieveing their goals!
