We’re excited to announce that we are due to continue restoring the art wall in Maltby’s Coronation Park next week. Back in November 2024, we scraped the loose paint off the wall and treated it with a bonding agent. However, works unfortunately came to a holt when we were hit with bad weather.
Now that the sun is shining, it’s all systems go! Once we’ve played our part by rendering the wall, it will be given a makeover as part of Rotherham’s Children’s Capital of Culture 2025. Children from local Maltby schools will take ownership of designing the new art work which will then be brought to life by a professional graffiti artist.
