An ACE year!

Home | In the Community | An ACE year!

As we set our sights on the year ahead, it’s only right that we pause to reflect on the remarkable year we’ve just completed. The past twelve months have been defined by growth, achievement and the continued strength of the Ace family.

Celebrating Our Team

Our greatest successes always begins with our team, and this year we celebrated some extraordinary milestones. Leanne, Mark and John Y each reached an incredible 20 years with Ace Partitions. Paul and Lewis marked 15 years, while Joel celebrated a decade with us. Their dedication and loyalty form the foundation of who we are.

We also welcomed new talent into the business, including John H, Shaun, Angela and Faith. Owen also joined us as an apprentice Quantity Surveyor, and we proudly partnered with the RNN Group to welcome our first ever T-Level student – an exciting step in supporting the next generation of industry professionals.

Strengthening Client Relationships and Securing New Projects

Our long-standing client partnerships remained strong, and we were delighted to secure several significant new projects. These included Bradford College Future Technology Centre, the Day Case Surgery and Imaging Centre at Harrogate District Hospital, the Critical Care Building at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and the refurbishment of Claycroft Residences at Warwick University.

We also completed a number of standout projects that now form part of a portfoli we are truly proud of, including the University of Gloucester, Trinity Academy in Bradford, Leeds Academy, Staveley Basin, Walsall Household Waste Recycling Centre and Waste Transfer Station, and Bishop Vesey Grammar School.

Recognising Excellence

The quality of our work and the commitment of our teams were recognised across multiple sites. Nathan and his team recieved the Overall Performance Award for their work on the University of Huddersfield Southgate 2, praised for excellent collaboration, quality of work and SHE performance during SFS installation.

Tim and the team at Mansfield CDC were also acknowledged for their contribution to achieving an impressive air test result of 1.2. And we were proud to see John recieve the 100% Safe Award for his swift and effective first aid response at Harrogate Hospital.

Giving Back to Our Community

Supporting our community remained a core focus throghout the year. We were honoured to donate to Wakefield and District Down’s Syndrome Support Group, Circus Star, The Lighthouse Charity and Rotherham Hospice. At Christmas, we continued this spirt of giving by donating toys, gift sets and selection boxes to the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and Wakefield Street Kitchen.

Our team also rolled up their sleeves to support local initiatives, including restoring the wall at Maltby’s Coronation Park, installing a fire-rate ceiling at the South Yorkshire Transport Museum, and fitting suspended ceilings in the new cattery at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability remained central to our operations. By continuing to cut materials off-site at our purpose-build premises, we reduced noie and dust pollution across our projects. We also strengthended our environmental commitment by partnering with Carbon Neutral Britain, offsetting 236.22 tonnes of CO2e through certified carbon reduction projects including the Woodland Fund and Sea Kelp Recovery Management.

It’s been a year defined by hard work, meaningful partnerships and achievements that reflect the strength of our team and the pride we take in every project. As we look ahead, we’re excited to build on this momentum and continue raising the bar. If 2025 is anything to go by, 2026 promises to be another year of progress, innovation and success – and we can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together.
